Lake Martin's natural appeal and family ties drew Mickey, her husband Jim, and their three children back to the area over 25 years ago.  Mickey's knowledge and love for the lake eased her into real estate in 1983.  Since that time the rewards of building new and lasting relationships through her customers and clients have been numerous.  Mickey's soft sell and attention to detail gives new meaning to the excitement of finding the home you are looking for.
    
Mickey enjoys her job almost as much as she enjoys her 8 grandchildren .  She has 4 granddaughters and 4 grandsons.

Local Board Activities and Honors
Mickey is a charter member of the Lake Martin Area Association of Realtors.  She has served on nearly every committee in her local board
and chaired many of these.  She was President of LMAAR in 1990 and
has been Realtor of the Year twice, in 1990 and 1998.  She has twice
served as President of MLS.  She now serves as Chairman of the Grievance Committee and Chairman of the Children's Task Force.

State  Achievements and Honors
Mickey has served on many committees of the Alabama Association of
Realtors and chaired many of them.  She served as Secretary, Treasurer, President Elect and President in 2000.  

A most exciting moment in her life was being elected Realtor of the
Year for the State of Alabama in 1998

National Activities
Mickey has been active on the national level, having served on the
National Public Relations Community Service Forum, the Member
Information Services Forum, the Risk Management Committee, and
currently serves on the Communications Committee and currently serves on the Resort Committee

Civic Activities
Mickey is a charter member of the local Rotary Club, Alexander City
Chamber of Commerce and Board member of The Corporate Foundation For Children.  She donates part of her commissions to prevent child abuse in Alabama.
